Cleaning Out My Geeky Closet of Gadgets, eBay Style

There comes a point where every geek must acknowledge their gadget gluttony. I have too many toys laying around – and much of it needs to go. So I’m starting off the whole lot with just three items. Leading off is the previous object of my affection – a mint condition MacBook Pro. This lovely laptop became orphaned once I upgraded to the younger and prettier unibody MBP. What can I say, I’m a fickle Macwhore. If you want it, it’s yours.

Second up is my absolutely antiquated Palm Treo 680 that has been laying around for at least two years now. Yes it’s old, and buzzards are circling overhead. But it still works and is in pristine condition – and hey, for some newb it will make a great (and cheap) beginner smartphone. Cast your bid.

Last but not least is one of two first generation iPhones that I stood in long lines and braved angry mobs to acquire on June 29 2007, on the very day Apple and AT&T launched it. It’s in great condition, save for some minor scratches on the delicate chrome trim surrounding the display – no preventing that. And of course like the current 3G iPhone, it can be unlocked to work with any carrier. Get some iPhone here.

That’s all I have for now, but stay tuned because more gear will be going on fleaBay in the coming days.
